【英语五年级下册作文（小学五年级英语作文）】In our school, there are many interesting activities. Every term, we have different kinds of events. This term, we had a special activity called "English Day." It was very exciting and fun for all the students.

On English Day, we dressed up in colorful clothes and spoke English as much as possible. Some students wore costumes from different countries. For example, Li Ming dressed like a robot, and Sarah looked like a princess from England. We also played games and sang English songs. The teachers were very happy to see us speak English confidently.

One of the most interesting parts was the English story competition. Each student had to tell a short story in English. I told a story about a little cat who wanted to fly. I practiced a lot before the competition, and I felt proud when I finished speaking.

After the competition, we had a picnic in the school garden. We shared snacks and talked in English. It was a great day full of learning and fun.

English Day made me realize how important it is to learn English. I hope we can have more such activities in the future. I will keep practicing and try to improve my English every day.
