【英语作文：我的笔友】I have a pen pal from Canada, and I really enjoy writing to her. Her name is Sarah, and she is 13 years old. We started writing to each other last year through an online language exchange program. At first, it was a little hard to communicate because we didn’t know much about each other, but now we are good friends.

Sarah lives in a small town near Toronto. She has two brothers and a dog named Max. She likes playing soccer and reading books. She also loves winter because she can go skiing and build snowmen. I told her about my life in China, and she was very interested in our culture. She asked me many questions about Chinese festivals, food, and school life.

In my letters, I usually talk about what I do every day, like going to school, playing basketball with my friends, or helping my parents at home. I also tell her about the weather in my city and the things I like to do in my free time. Sarah often sends me pictures of her family and her favorite places. It’s fun to see how different our lives are, but it’s also interesting to find out that we have similar hobbies and feelings.

Writing to Sarah has helped me improve my English. I learn new words and expressions, and I get to practice writing in a real-life situation. Sometimes I make mistakes in my letters, but she always corrects them politely and encourages me to keep trying.

I hope to meet Sarah one day. Maybe she will come to visit me in China, or I can go to Canada to see her. Until then, I will continue writing to her and learning more about her world. I believe that friendship can cross borders, and I am grateful to have such a special friend from another country.
