【快乐的国庆节英语作文】The National Day is one of the most important festivals in China. It is a time when people celebrate the founding of the People's Republic of China. This year, I had a very happy National Day holiday, and I will never forget it.

On the morning of October 1st, I woke up early and got dressed in my favorite clothes. My family and I went out to enjoy the festival atmosphere. The streets were decorated with red flags and colorful lights. There were many people walking around, smiling and enjoying the special day.

In the afternoon, we went to a park near our home. There were lots of activities there, such as dancing performances, music shows, and even some traditional Chinese games. I played some games with my friends and won a small prize. It was so fun!

At night, we watched the fireworks show from the rooftop of our building. The sky was full of bright colors, and everyone cheered and clapped. I felt very proud to be a Chinese person. The National Day is not only a time for celebration but also a time to remember the hard work and sacrifices of our ancestors.

This National Day was really special. I enjoyed every moment of it and hope to have another happy one next year.
