【My（winter及holiday英语作文）】Winter holiday is one of the most exciting times of the year for me. It’s a time when I can relax, spend time with family, and enjoy the beautiful snow. This winter, I had a very special holiday that I will never forget.

The holiday started on December 25th, which is Christmas Day. My family and I went to my grandparents’ house in the countryside. The air was cold, but the atmosphere was warm and full of joy. We decorated the house with lights and a big Christmas tree. My grandmother cooked a delicious dinner, and we all sat together to eat and talk. It was a happy moment that made me feel grateful for my family.

During the holiday, I also had some fun activities. One of them was building a snowman with my little brother. We used carrots for the nose, buttons for the eyes, and sticks for the arms. It looked funny, but we were proud of it. Another activity was skiing. Although I was not very good at it, I enjoyed the feeling of sliding down the mountain. It was both exciting and a bit scary, but I had a lot of fun.

In the evenings, I spent time reading books and watching movies. I also wrote a few letters to my friends who were away during the holiday. Writing letters made me feel closer to them even though we couldn’t meet in person.

This winter holiday was different from the others because I learned the importance of family and the joy of simple things. I realized that sometimes the best memories are made when we are not doing anything special, just being together.
