Every summer, I look forward to the long break from school. This year was especially fun because I had many interesting experiences that I will never forget.
One of the most exciting things I did during the vacation was going to the beach with my family. We packed our bags and drove for two hours to a small coastal town. The sea was so beautiful, and the sand felt soft under my feet. I spent the whole day swimming, building sandcastles, and collecting seashells. My little brother even tried to catch crabs, but they were too fast for him!
Another thing I enjoyed was reading books. I read three new stories this summer, including one about a brave little robot who saved his town. It made me feel like I was part of an adventure. I also wrote a short story of my own, which I showed to my teacher when school started again. She said it was very creative!
I also learned how to ride a bike by myself. At first, I was scared and kept falling, but my dad helped me practice every day. After a week, I could ride without any help! It felt amazing to be able to go anywhere I wanted on my own.
In the evenings, I liked to sit outside with my family and watch the stars. We would tell stories and laugh together. It was a peaceful way to end each day.
The summer was full of fun and learning. I made new memories, tried new things, and grew a little bit more each day. I can't wait for next summer to come again!
