My Room
When you walk into my room, the first thing that catches your eye is probably the big window near my bed. It’s always open during the day to let in fresh air and sunlight. The sunlight dances on the floor, creating little golden patches that make the room feel warm and cozy.
The walls of my room are painted a soft blue color. I chose this shade because it reminds me of the sky, which makes me feel relaxed whenever I look at it. On one wall, there’s a shelf filled with books. Some are old favorites I’ve read countless times, while others are waiting for their turn to be opened. Next to the bookshelf is a small desk where I do my homework or write letters to friends. A lamp sits quietly beside it, ready to provide light when needed.
In the corner of the room, there’s a comfortable armchair. It’s not very fancy, but it’s perfect for curling up with a good book or just daydreaming. Above the chair hangs a corkboard covered in photos and notes from family and friends. Each piece has its own story, making the board feel like a mini museum of my life.
My bed is right next to the window, and it’s the most important part of the room. After a long day, it’s where I unwind and recharge. The blanket is a mix of colors—red, yellow, and green—and it’s soft enough to wrap myself in completely. Underneath the bed, I keep a few boxes full of treasures: old toys, keepsakes, and even some drawings I made as a child.
There’s also a closet in the room, though it’s not very large. Inside, you’ll find clothes neatly folded and hung up, along with a couple of bags for trips. My shoes are lined up below, each pair having been worn on different adventures.
Every object in my room tells a story about who I am and what I love. It’s more than just a space—it’s my personal sanctuary, a place where I can be myself without any distractions. Whether I’m reading, writing, or simply sitting quietly, my room feels like home.
